As a former Stylist of 10 years and new mother, I began taking photos of my daughter on a daily basis, as many new moms do. Being the perfectionist I am, I quickly noticed my photos were not translating as beautifully as so many others I looked to for inspiration. I became consumed with learning how my camera works! As I learned, I posted each photo online to share with loved ones and over time people started asking if I would consider shooting their children's photos. I was honored but felt so insecure accepting clients. I felt like there was still so much I needed to learn. I quickly started to mentor with the photographers, the ones I looked up to and aspired to be. Their shared knowledge and advice along with my creative background and passion is what I feel sets me apart. Photography ignites something inside of me I can't quite explain. It gives me a platform to be creative, express my visions, and tell magical stories. There is nothing more rewarding than sharing my work with my clients and hearing positive feedback. It is so inspiring and reminds me how blessed I am to be able to truly do what I love and love what I do.
